Self-Compassion for the Healer: Putting Your Mask on First

Led by Dr. Rabia Subhani

Friday, April 24

7:00am - 8:00am

In a profession built on presence, it’s easy to forget to pause. This restorative mindfulness session is designed specifically for psychologists who want practical ways to reset during a busy clinical day.

You’ll learn simple, neuroscience-informed practices to reduce stress, clear emotional residue between sessions, and strengthen your capacity to stay grounded, especially when the work feels heavy.

Expect guided practice, quiet moments, and tools you can use immediately.

  • Rabia is a clinical neuropsychologist practicing via telehealth from Columbus, GA.

She is also a certified Mindfulness/meditation teacher, completing a 2 year program through UC Berkeley's GGSC with Drs. Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.

As an ADHDer, her true passion lies at the intersection of spirituality and neurodivergence so she has a podcast called the NeuroDivine and also offers spiritually based life coaching.

In addition, she offers consultations to organizations/practices on mindful/energetic and/or neurodiversity-affirming practices.

MORNING WELLNESS ACTIVITY‍ ‍

Sacred Reset: The Spirituality of Healing

Led by Dr. Rabia Subhani

Saturday, April 25

7:00am - 8:00am

Most of us entered this field because something in us felt called to it. Over time, paperwork, productivity pressures, and emotional intensity can blur that sense of purpose. This reflective session offers

a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the deeper meaning of your work. Through guided reflection and experiential practice, we’ll explore how tending to your own sense of purpose and

presence can renew energy and protect against burnout. Open and inclusive of all belief systems. We will also venture a bit into the woo woo and learn about energy hygiene practices!

Led by Dr. Rabia Subhani

Sunday, April 26

Psychologists spend their days holding space for others - but who holds space for you? This warm, experiential workshop invites you to gently turn the same compassion you offer your clients toward yourself.

We’ll explore the challenges of self-compassion, the reality of burnout and inner criticism in helping professionals, and simple practices you can use between sessions or after a hard day. You’ll leave with practical tools to care for yourself in times of stress.
